Are robot vacuums worth it?
For most homes, yes. A robot vacuum keeps daily dust and hair from piling up, and the payoff is biggest with pets or mixed flooring. It's your everyday cleaning, not a replacement for the occasional deep clean.

What's the difference between a robot vacuum and a robot vacuum mop?
A vacuum-only model picks up dry dirt, dust, and crumbs. A robot vacuum mop does that and mops hard floors in the same run. See the robot vacuum and mop collection to see if they're right for you.

How long do robot vacuums last?
Plan on four to six years with normal care. Accessories wear out sooner: brush rolls every 12 to 18 months, filters 6 to 12 months, mop pads 2 to 3 months.

Can a robot vacuum handle hair without tangling?

Do robot vacuums work on carpet?
Yes, and suction tells you how well. Low-pile wants 12,000 to 19,000 Pa, mid-pile 20,000 Pa or more, deep pile 30,000 Pa or higher. Most Dreame robot vacuum mops raise the mop on carpet, so the pile stays dry.

How often should a robot vacuum run?
Daily for pet households, every two to three days without pets. A self-emptying dock makes that easier, since you're not emptying a bin after every pass.

Where a Robot Vacuum Fits Into Your Home

A robot vacuum runs on a schedule, so you're not chasing each mess as it appears. How to Choose a Robot Vacuum

  1. Brush design matters

    For carpet, 19,000 Pa is the minimum suction you need for low-pile carpets. You need a suction power of 25,000 Pa or higher for mid-pile carpets. Hard floors are less demanding.   3. Threshold crossing

    Pet hair fills onboard bins faster than a standard household. A self-emptying dock keeps the robot vacuum running daily without the need to empty it between runs.
