Dreame Z30 Cordless Stick Vacuum

We have only used a few times but so far it has been excellent.
Was looking for a vacuum that had really good suction, didn’t scratch floors and long running time. This has hit all the marks. Love the green light that shows all the dust and smal particles on the floor, I thought the floor looked clean until the green light came on!

I have bought numerous vacuums over the years. I've got an expensive Kirby (15 years old) that still runs fine. But it's heavy, bulky and I'm constricted by the cord.My kind husband ordered a cordless stick vacuum about 6 months ago for about $140. Good for quick clean ups, lighter weight, etc. It was fine...or so I thought.Then I encountered the opportunity for the Dreame T20 cordless stick vacuum. I must admit, even though I've spent decent money on a vacuum before (the Kirby), the $500 price tag had me a little nervous. Could the vacuum justify the sticker price?Let me stop here and say...I live with three sons, two dogs, and a husband. There are ALWAYS crumbs, dust, hair, and other random, unidentified things on the floor. I also have a combination of carpets and hardwood floors.I cannot believe how amazing this vacuum is! Seriously. I know it's a vacuum. But I love this appliance. I have no cons, but I will highlight the things that make this vacuum worth the price point.- the CelesTect LED lighting shows the dust, etc. as I've never seen it illuminated with other vacuums with white lights.- the power is incredible. With a single pass, the crumbs and dust were picked up!- the auto detection really does adjust to the mess.- the attachments are actually useful and very effective.- easy to change the attachments and use / not use the extension- doesn't lose power with the extension- works great on carpet and hard floors- has the ability to use the attachments without the extension, making it easy to use for stairs, under furniture, and more- easy to adjust the speed and see the battery life- the stand holds the stick vacuum and it's attachments well, making it stable and easy to use.Worth every penny. Pass on the Dyson / Shark debate and get a Dreame!

My sister has been staying with me lately and she brought her Dyson cordless with her, so I had been using that and thinking maybe I should get one for myself--prior to receiving this Dreame vacuum! The Dyson Vortex is a great vacuum but this *very* similar Dreame vac has a few more advantages as far as I can tell.The main advantage the Dreame vacuum has over the Dyson is that the multi-surface head has the illumination feature, while the Dyson only has that feature for the hard surface attachment. Since I have rugs, carpets, and tile floors, I only use the multi-surface head rather than switching back and forth and I love being able to see all the dust and debris before it gets sucked up. So satisfying!My sister really loves vacuuming and has worked as a professional housekeeper for many years, and I take seriously her input on this subject matter. She really likes the floor mount for the Dreame vacuum more than the wall mount because it has several slots for the attachments, where the Dyson doesn't have any storage features. It's also annoying having to install the wall mount because it pretty much requires wall anchors and the one spot I can put the (Dyson) vacuum has really thin drywall (which I did for her when she arrived). SO that is another advantage this Dreame vacuum has over the Dyson.A third advantage is that you don't have to press the button the whole time--you just hit the power button and it keeps on vacuuming until you turn it off, unlike the Dyson which can make your fingers pretty tired if you have a lot of vacuuming to do. I like to save my fingers for non-housekeeping activities!It's a great vacuum and I really love that it's cordless. I had a vintage Kirby vacuum prior to this and it worked great but was so heavy to move around and I always had to hold the cord up so I didn't vacuum over it. It also required disposable vacuum bags and new belts and brushes every so often. This Dream vacuum does require more frequent emptying but it's really easy to just push the button and empty it into the trash. It's so light and maneuverable and doesn't wreck the legs of my furniture. I can also lay it flat to vacuum under consoles and furniture, which I never could have done before.I am not too ken on technical specs so there may be reasons why someone might prefer the Dyson but for my needs, I am really happy with this Dreame vacuum. If any major issues pop up I will update my review, but so far soooo good! Hope this helps.
