I don’t usually write reviews, but this Dreame vacuum absolutely earned one. I have a toddler who turns every meal into a full‑scale disaster zone, and for years I’ve had to sweep, then get down on my hands and knees to wipe up the wet messes. This vacuum has completely changed that routine. It saves my back, my knees, and a surprising amount of time.

What really shocked me is that it actually makes cleanup enjoyable. It feels more like using a fun little gadget than doing a chore. The price point was a big factor for me — I picked mine up for $300 — and for what it delivers, that’s incredible value. It’s also lighter than I expected. I can easily vacuum with one hand while holding my toddler in the other, which is a huge win.

Before buying, I saw a lot of reviewers skeptical about the self‑cleaning system, especially the fact that it uses hot air instead of hot water. I felt the same way, but after using it three times a day for two weeks, I’m convinced. I took the brush roller out expecting the brush to be stained or musty after handling yogurt, oatmeal, pasta, and every other sticky toddler food imaginable. Instead, the brush was spotless, dry, and smelled fresh. The self‑cleaning really does its job.

One of the biggest reasons I chose Dreame over competitors is that many vacuums at this price point don’t include a self‑clean and dry mode. For me, that would’ve been a deal breaker.
