Everything about the X50 is great, from looks to functionality.... except that I have 3 longer haired dogs (2 huskies and a samoyed), and their hair just compacts into the little bin in the robot and will not empty into the tower.

So I have to hand scoop out the little bins on my X50s every 3 days or so if I want them to be able to vacuum at all.

I wonder whether the hair chewing feature of the X40 would have made them a better choice.

Trying to get support from Dreame about managing rug tassels with the X50 was useless, so I'm not bothering with that route this time. FYI, my solution ended up being just folding rug tassels underneath the rug and taping them in place, so the X50 doesn't try to eat them.

BUT, the product looks lovely, is pretty quiet, crosses thresholds admirably, avoids obstacles well, and mops as well as we need it to with our dogs always tracking in dirt and small debris.
I would likely buy them again in the future, even knowing I'll have to hand scoop the bins.

Seems to have everything you need. Of course I'd like to see a low price point, but what can you do.
